Heculeads ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our Google Workspace Add-on ("Heculeads: Sheet & Calendar Sync").

1. Information We Collect

Heculeads accesses the following data to provide its services:

  • Google Sheets Data: We read data from the active spreadsheet to sync events to Google Calendar. This data is processed locally within Google's infrastructure and is not stored on our servers.
  • Google Calendar Data: We read and write calendar events based on your spreadsheet data. We only access calendars you explicitly select or that are set as your default.
  • Google Contacts Data: We access your contacts to provide a guest picker feature, allowing you to easily add invitees to your calendar events. This access is optional and only used when you interact with the guest picker.
  • User Settings: We store your preferences (selected calendar, column mappings, sync settings) using Google's built-in storage (PropertiesService), which is tied to your Google account and the specific document.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information solely to:

  • Synchronize data between Google Sheets and Google Calendar
  • Populate the guest picker with your contacts for easy event invitation
  • Remember your settings and preferences within the add-on
  • Maintain a sync log within your spreadsheet for transparency
  • Process payments for subscriptions (via Stripe)

3. Data Storage and Security

  • No External Servers: Heculeads runs entirely within Google's infrastructure. Your spreadsheet and calendar data never leaves Google's servers.
  • No Data Collection: We do not collect, store, or transmit your personal data to any external servers owned or operated by Heculeads.
  • Settings Storage: Your preferences are stored using Google's PropertiesService, which is encrypted and secured by Google.

4. Data Sharing, Transfer, and Disclosure

Heculeads does not share, transfer, or disclose Google user data to any third parties. Specifically:

  • No Data Selling: We do not sell your Google user data to third parties.
  • No Advertising: We do not share your Google user data with third parties for advertising purposes.
  • No External Transfers: We do not transfer your Google user data to any external servers or third-party entities. All data processing occurs locally within the Google Apps Script environment.
  • No Disclosure: We do not disclose your Google user data to any external entities except as required by law or to provide the core synchronization functionality you have explicitly triggered.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

  • Google Workspace: Our add-on runs on Google's infrastructure and uses Google APIs (Sheets, Calendar, Contacts).
  • Stripe: For processing subscription payments. Stripe's privacy policy applies to payment data (e.g., email address and payment method) provided during the checkout process. No Google Sheets or Calendar data is shared with Stripe.

6. Data Retention

Since we don't store your data on external servers, there is no data retention policy on our end. Your settings remain stored in your Google account (via PropertiesService) until you uninstall the add-on or delete the document. Your spreadsheet and calendar data remain in your Google account under your control.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Revoke Heculeads' access at any time through your Google Account permissions
  • Delete your settings by uninstalling the add-on
  • Request information about what data we access (contact us at info@heculeads.com)

8. Google API Services User Data Policy

Heculeads' use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

9. Children's Privacy

Heculeads is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us to have it removed.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of Heculeads after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
